I have always wanted to be a writer. It was probably my very first career goal. That and being the keyboardist for Prince and the Revolution. (Truly. I dressed up as my interpretation of just such a keyboardist for Career Day in second grade, which went over as well as you’d expect in a Catholic school.)
These days, I’m currently seeking representation for my own novel, and I’ll be sure to share any thrilling developments right here. I tend to write YA fantasy—my first and enduring literary love.
My professional background is in journalism, and I’ve worked for 20 years as a writer or editor for clients including ABRAMS Books (proofreading craft books!), UGA, Georgia Magazine, babygooroo.com, Stislow Illustration, the Etiquette & Leadership Institute, and the Athens Banner-Herald.
